He is expecting to finish his travels in July and will have new images from these destinations available right here on Circle Stock Images soon after. We asked David for a little background on his work and here’s what he had to say:
“I am a professional photographer and founder of Image by Interface, specializing in digital photography for people, places, events and things – worldwide. My passion is the photography of people (“I love to make anyone look good!”) and world locations (“traveling is a passion”).
I love to photograph weddings, events and objects and is available for assignments globally. I am a lecturer and keynote guest speaker on digital and travel photography and is represented internationally by stock photo agencies. My images have been published internationally in magazines, books, websites, and newspapers.
I am a professional member of the Editorial Photographers Association and past President of the North Shore Photographic Society of West Vancouver, B.C. where he resides with his wife Anna. His presentations are known to inform, entertain and inspire his audiences. “The only reason we come home from our travels is to change our clothes and see our 4 grandchildren”.”

For those who don’t know us yet here some short introduction. We are a team of travel photographers based at different locations worldwide who have teamed up and combined their portfolios to create a new travel image stock agency called www.circlestockimages.com .
Our photographer-managed agency differs from traditional photo agencies by offering commission-free competitive pricing and the ability to contact and negotiate with member photographers individually. All the features found on other stock photography sites, including themed galleries, lightboxes and keyword searching are provided. Low resolution watermarked comps are also provided at no charge.
Through the site’s e-commerce facility, buyers can instantly download high resolution files and pay using PayPal™ or major credit card. Other payment methods and terms may be negotiated with individual member photographers as appropriate. This flexibility is one benefit of the photographer-managed agency versus more traditional ones.
Our portfolio includes stunning travel-centric images from around the globe and is constantly growing as members continue to travel to new locations. Upcoming destinations are China, South America, Australia, Hong Kong and Europe, as well as specific U.S. and Canadian regions.
The members and home countries of our team are:
Jaak Nilson (Tallinn/Estonia)
Brian Skyum (Denmark/based in Thailand)
David Smith (Vancouver/Canada)
Kymri Wilt (Cardiff by the Sea/California/US)
Warren Diggles (Northern Colorado/US)
