Jaak Nilson is a native Estonian photographer who is highly regarded as one of the best photographers covering everything his home country has to offer.
His collection is one of the most comprehensive and diverse collection of images from Estonia you can find. His home town is Tartu and his work has been recognised by the local tourist board as a great source of images to illustrate the local area.
He has been building his collection over many years and has recently updated his galleries on Circle Stock Images with new photographs of his home country. He will also be travelling the length and breadth of the country over the summer to update his collection covering every aspect of life in this beautiful part of the world all available on Circle Stock Images.

The unique Song Festival (shown above) is an event where one choir of 35 000 singers combined with an audience of about 60 000 people people all sing together, thinking and breathing as one. This gives a total of 100 000 people performing in harmony which in a country of just 1.4 million people is something of a small miracle.
The Estonian Song Festival (In Estonian: Laulupidu) is one of the largest amateur choral events in the world, a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. The event is held every five years in July on the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds (Lauluväljak) and can only bee seen in the Baltic States. The joint choir has usually comprised 25,000 singers while in 2009, there were more than 30,000 participants performing to an audience of 80,000.
In his collection you can also find an inspiring collection of stock photos from Europe, Italy, Spain and the US National Parks, below are just a couple of examples of his work.
